Existing mixer
Keep the mature input, mixer, curves, channels and outputs architecture.
ALPHA STAGE · IN DEVELOPMENT

FlightDeck TX is a complete visual redesign of EdgeTX, created to make full-colour RC transmitters cleaner, faster to navigate and more enjoyable to use — without abandoning the features that make EdgeTX powerful.
This is an alpha-stage development project, not a firmware release. Do not flash experimental builds to a transmitter used for flying.
THE INTERFACE
The oldest Jumper T16 establishes the baseline, so performance and legibility are central to every design decision.
Clean typography, restrained colour, contextual panels and graphics designed for embedded hardware — not a website squeezed onto a small display.
ENGINEERING PRINCIPLE
Full EdgeTX compatibility is the goal, not a claim of completion.
Keep the mature input, mixer, curves, channels and outputs architecture.
Retain receiver protocols, module integration, binding workflows and safety functions.
Preserve the EdgeTX model and radio settings structures, including migration handling.
Keep scripts, widgets, sensor management, alarms and telemetry features accessible.
DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Progress is intentionally staged. The public repository is the future release channel; development work is kept separate until validated.
Colours, typography, layout grid, menus and first native LVGL components.
Compile both radio targets and confirm screen rendering, memory and responsiveness.
Redesign navigation and editors while preserving all existing EdgeTX features.
Bench-test on original T16 and TX16S, including radio-control regression and safety testing.
Publish source and firmware only after compatibility, safety and stability checks.
No release is designated flight-safe. Illustrative interface screens use demonstration data; transmitter outputs, warnings, failsafe and RF state must always be verified against the actual firmware and hardware.
OPEN-SOURCE ROOTS
Built upon EdgeTX and subject to its open-source licensing requirements. The public repository provides the project’s future release home; expect development updates before any downloadable flight firmware.
